Rental Pricing
Empress Theatre & Empress Lounge for 2020-2021
Rental rates include same day set-up and rehearsal, but do not include labor, equipment, insurance, box office services, lobby event space or additional rehearsal time or set up days. Merchandise sales, commercial displays and audio/video recording require separate agreements and fees.
Standard Rate $2,000 – one performance and same day rehearsal (8-hour period on one day)
Second performance on same day $1,500 ($150 per hour thereafter)
Non-profit rate $1500 – one performance and same day rehearsal (8-hour period on one day)
Second performance on same day $1,000 ($150 per hour thereafter)
Rental rates do not include labor, equipment, insurance, box office services.
Lighting Technician – $40 per hour
Sound Technician – $40 per hour
Stage Hands – $25 per hour
Grand Piano Rental – $150
One Advertising Space in Poster Display Window – Design and materials $50
Marque Billing – $50 one week
Marquee Billing two sides – $100 one week (based on availability)
Box Office Service – Basic fee is $200 plus 3.5% credit card sales, which includes set-up, ticket printing, advance sale and night-of-show ticket seller.
Lounge – in conjunction with performance $400 / No Performance $1,000
Custodial and Damage Fee – $300 for Theatre and Lounge
- $100 damage fee is refundable
Front of House and Ushering Corp – $150 per performance
- $75 Two performances on the same day
Security – $150 per performance
Merchandise Sales – must be approved in advance. Table in lobby $100
Video Projection Package (projector and screen use) – $200
Video – archival recording $150
Audio – archival recording $50
Portable PA system – $150 per day
Deposit – non-refundable deposit required of all users to reserve date(s).
