The “Master Drummer”
Began playing at he age of two, started his professional career at the age of 11, and has over 40 years of experience. Wilson participated in the Young Musician Program Alumni and is an Monterey All-Star Musician Alumni. He has taught students such as Justin Brown, Eric Craven, Altoris Lavar and the late Nathan Hendricks. Presently, Wilson is a full-time musician/vocalist/drum teacher.
Wilson has toured Australia, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Montana. He is a former member of the Grammy-Nominated Gospel Humming Birds (13yrs.) Currently, he is the drummer/vocalist for other bands which include Beaufunk, The Luther Vandross Tribute Band, Rhonda Benin and the Soulful Strut, The Groovemasters, The Zydeco Flames, The Sweet City Blues Band, The 2wo 4our 1ne Band, and JazSynergy. Wilson has played with recording artists which include Kenny Burrell, Jimmy Witherspoon, Tony Lindsay, and Sista Monica. He has shared the stage with Stanley Clark, Rance Allen, Billy Preston, B.B. King, and The Clark Sisters. “Wilson is one of the most skilled and spirited drummers with which I have ever worked,” says bassist Timm Walker.

Paul is a full time musician who has achieved an equal level of proficiency on both guitar and sax. He’s worked and toured with Levon Helm and backed up Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and others while working with Levon, as well as playing with Rick Danko and Garth Hudson. He’s also worked with jazz legends like Jimmy McGriff, Hank Crawford, and Jack DeJonette. Other bands include Orleans, Robbie DuPree as well as numerous local and regional acts on both the East and West Coasts. He is well versed in many styles from blues to rock to modern jazz and others. He consistently wows audiences with his prowess on both instruments and is told he plays each as if it was his only one.
Tim Campbell, Piano
Bay Area Native Tim Campbell has been playing professionally since high school in the late 1960’s. After 4 years in the military Tim toured for 2 years playing nightclubs throughout the western region of the U.S. (opening for Sly Stone in the early 1970’s) Upon returning to the bay area Tim continued to play in bay area groups while working for a telecommuications company. During this time until the present Tim has played with such notables as: Mike Mau (drummer for Stoneground) Marvin Holmes- funk and jazz guitarist. Bay area jazz greats: the late Scott Peterson, Noel Jewkes, Graham Bruce, Dave Ellis, Melecio Magdeluyo, Steve Heckman, Kristen Strom, Terrence Brewer, Jeff Massanari, Christian Tamburr, Paul and Mark Van Wageningen, Alan Hall, Lorca Hart, Deszon Claiborne, Sam Bevan, Fred Randolf, Mad & Eddie Duran, and many other bay area jazz greats. Tim is well versed in funk/soul as well as jazz and latin jazz.
