Event Info

The VCS Radio Symphony will perform their original score for the epic silent film The Lost World.  This 1925 classic is based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and features special effects (uncredited) by Willis O’Brien (King Kong). In recent years, the UCLA Film Archive and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences helped restore missing footage that was believed to be lost forever.

The VCS Radio Symphony is the world-renowned student orchestra at Vacaville Christian Schools’ Radio Conservatory of the Arts. This endeavor is the ensemble’s 26th film score project under the direction of Ralph Martin.
