Final Celebration: Saturday, July 25
Art Exhibition: 11 AM
Theatrical Performance: 1:30 PM
Join us for the inspiring finale of the 2026 VCA Summer Arts Camp, a joyful celebration of young creativity, imagination, courage, and community. This year’s theme, “Where Dreams Take Flight — Come Fly With Us,” invites students to explore the arts, discover their voices, and share what they have created through visual art, performance, music, movement, theatre, and storytelling.
The camp runs July 13 through July 25, culminating in a special public celebration at the Empress Theatre and Temple Art Lofts in downtown Vallejo.
A Day of Art, Imagination & Performance
The day begins with a student Art Exhibition at 11 AM, featuring artwork and creative projects developed during camp. Families, friends, supporters, and community members are invited to walk through the exhibition and experience the imagination, color, and vision of Vallejo’s young artists.
At 1:30 PM, the celebration continues with a theatrical performance at the Empress Theatre. Camp participants will take the stage to bring the theme of flight, dreams, and possibility to life in front of a live audience.
This is more than a performance. It is a chance to support children’s art, celebrate local youth, and witness the confidence that grows when young people are given space to create, collaborate, and shine.
Come fly with us. Celebrate the art. Cheer for the kids.
Your support helps keep children’s arts education alive in Vallejo.
