Rush Tribute
Rush music is not easy to fake. The parts are too detailed, the arrangements are too demanding, and the fans know every fill, every bass line, every synth texture, and every guitar tone.
That is exactly why R50 works. This Bay Area Rush tribute brings the music to life as a real three-piece band, covering the sound, precision, and energy of one of rock's most ambitious catalogs. No shortcuts. No tracks. Just three musicians taking on the full weight of Rush the way it was meant to be played.
At the center of the sound is Chris Meek on guitar, vocals, and synths, handling the Alex Lifeson side of the equation with tone, texture, and precision while helping cover the layered parts that make Rush so complex.
Mike Carlington drives the show on drums and percussion, taking on the Neil Peart-inspired parts that every Rush fan listens for: the fills, the movement, the dynamics, and the architecture of the songs.
Mike Peattie covers bass, vocals, and keyboards, bringing the Geddy Lee side of the band to the stage with the high-wire combination of lead vocals, bass lines, and synth parts that define the Rush sound.
From the hard rock and progressive fire of the 70s to the synth-driven 80s and the later-era return to full-force rock, R50 covers the Rush journey with serious respect for the material. Expect the big songs, the deep cuts, and the moments that make Rush fans lean forward, air drum, and sing along.
