Father’s Day Brunch & Reunion Concert

Sunday, June 21
Brunch 12–4 PM   |   Music 1–4 PM
Empress Marquee Club • Gourmet Brunch Menu by Chef Dianna

This Father’s Day, treat Dad to something better than another tie — an afternoon of soulful live music, gourmet brunch, and Bay Area elegance inside the intimate Empress Marquee Club.

Join us for a special Father’s Day Brunch & Reunion Concert featuring the smooth, sophisticated sound of Lloyd Gregory, one of the Bay Area’s most beloved jazz and R&B guitar voices. Lloyd’s playing is warm, melodic, and deeply soulful — the kind of guitar sound that turns a Sunday afternoon into a memory.

He’ll be joined by a powerhouse lineup of friends: Joe Thomas on bass and vocals, Janice Maxie-Reid on keyboards and vocals, and Richie Aguan on drums and vocals. Together they bring the groove, the harmony, the pocket, and the joy — a rich blend of jazz, soul, R&B, blues, gospel, and feel-good classics.

This is the Marquee Club at its best: great food, great musicians, close-up energy, beautiful sound, and a room full of people celebrating family, music, and community.

Janice Maxie-Reid, known as the “Queen of the Keyboards,” brings commanding vocals and masterful musicianship. Richie Aguan adds world-class groove and vocal fire from behind the kit. Joe Thomas anchors it all with soulful bass and vocals. And Lloyd Gregory leads the afternoon with guitar lines that are smooth, expressive, and unmistakably heartfelt.

Bring Dad. Bring the family. Bring your friends. Come hungry, come ready to relax, and come celebrate Father’s Day with brunch, music, and a reunion concert full of heart.
