Jimmy Dewrance

West Coast Blues

Thursday, June 18
Doors & Dinner 5:30 PM | Music 6:30 PM
Harmonica Fire • Blues • Rock • Funk

Get ready for a night of West Coast blues with grit, soul, and a rocking edge as Jimmy Dewrance comes to the Empress Marquee Club.

Jimmy is a San Jose blues veteran, harmonica player, singer, songwriter, and bandleader with decades of old-school blues behind him. His sound has been described as straight-up blues with a rocking chaser: harmonica up front, dirty guitar, solid bass, and a heavy shuffle backbeat that gets the room moving.

This is not polite background blues. Jimmy plays with bite, moving from whisper to fury with a harmonica sound that cuts through the room and vocals that carry the story.

Fans of Paul Butterfield, John Mayall, Freddie King, Albert King, and B.B. King will feel right at home. Expect blues harp, soulful vocals, rock, funk, and a deep groove made for a live room.

The Marquee Club is the right setting for this kind of show: close, warm, and built for music you can feel. Come early for dinner, grab a drink, and settle in for a Thursday night of real blues energy.
